El Gebaly Fruit Company is a global leader in the production of agricultural crops and the export of citrus fruits, accounting for 10% of fresh citrus exports from Egypt, ranking it as the number one citrus exporter for the past five consecutive years according to the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry and the General Organization for Export/ Import Control (GOEIC) with more than 105,000 tons in the last season 2010/2011.
The Company is working with four production lines, the current lines operates at a capacity of 90 tons per hour and the production capacity of the company per day ranges from 900 to 1,000 tons. The company is installing a fifth production line, which will start operations at the second quarter of 2012 that is using the latest technologies in sorting and packing.
